Gas-powder fire extinguishing technology is based on a new method of fire extinguishing – the impact on the fire source with a mixture of fire extinguishing powder and CO2 gas (Gas — powder fire extinguishing agent-GPOV). Due to a certain balance between the gas and powder discharged, a synergistic effect is achieved – a combined gas-powder substance is three times more efficient than when using the substances that make up its composition separately. The powder moves in the gas mixture, quickly and evenly filling the entire volume and carbon dioxide serves not only to displace the powder from the container, but also participates in the extinguishing process – it displaces oxygen and cools the protected volume.

The key advantages of the gas-powder fire extinguishing technology include:

  • Complex impact on the fire source: cooling, isolation, inhibition, dilution (phlegmatization), mechanical failure of the flame.
  • Preservation of material values due to the low inertia of triggering and elimination of fire in the early stages.
  • Absence of negative impact on protected objects and materials.
  • Efficiency for extinguishing objects outdoors.
  • Safe for the environment.
